  • Slip Components and Functionality – CRW 300K Series Slips

In the first DWS video, we reviewed the process required to disassemble CRW 300K Slips, which are used globally on our Hydraulic Completion Units (HCU). Building off the questions and comments, our Competency & Training team has put together another great video that dives into the CRW 300K Slips’ unique components and functionality.

  • Pressure Control Components

For the 1st video of 2021, our Training and Competency department will be discussing the Pressure Control components found on our HCU’s and the functionality of this specialty equipment.

  • EOY Appreciation Video 2020

As 2020 comes to an end, we wanted to take this time to say THANK YOU and to reflect on some of the positives that our company accomplished during this year of sacrifice, uncertainty, and media-driven fear.

    • Passed our API Q2 audit – the only snubbing company to date in N. America to receive this accreditation
    • Upgraded our competency & training facility with a newly drilled test well and provided over 5,400 hours of in-house employee training – Received a U.S patent for processes within our Data Acquisition System
    • SnubWell® – Hosted industry meetings with the Wall Street Journal, key PA Senators, and County Commissioners at our Training Facility – Received company recognition from The Journal of Petroleum Technology (JPT) & The American Oil & Gas Reporter (AOGR) on our new innovations – Published with a major E&P the first-ever SPE Whitepaper on HCU Technology

To all of our crews, customers, and strategic partners who work their butts off to provide our nation with the energy that all Americans need, we are forever grateful for your sacrifices! With the approved vaccine and the first round of immunizations taking place, restrictions will slowly begin to relax, and the demand for oil and gas will rebound…WE WILL be ready! From our DWS family to yours, we wish you all a safe, healthy, and prosperous New Year!

  • How are Connections Made During the Drilling Process?

In this video, we leave our warm Training facility and head out to the field to explain how our HCU’s make drilling connections in the work basket. Our Competency & Training team review the general steps required by our HCU crews to ensure this critical operation happens safely & efficiently.

  • BOPS – Ram Change Basics

As a follow-up to our last video on the differences between the Stripping and Safety Ram Fronts, our DWS Competency & Training team will explain how to change out the ram blocks from the BOP cavities throughout this video.

  • Ram Fronts – Difference between Strippers and Safeties

In this video, our DWS Competency and Training team, review the difference between Stripping and Safety Ram fronts and how they are both used in Snubbing well-site operations.

  • Single Pick Rigovers – Efficiencies on Well to Well Picks

In this video, you will watch how Deep Well Services – Hydraulic Completion Units (HCU) use their one pick technology to fully rig over from well to well (c/w primary BOP’s) in 4 – 5 hours. This innovative design allows for a safe and more efficient operation that results in true measurable cost savings.

  • Slip Disassembly – CRW 300K Series Slips

This video provides an overview of the disassembly of the slips we use to move pipe with our hydraulic completion units. The intent is to increase familiarity with the different components and how they are assembled. With greater knowledge of the equipment, our crews can drive greater safety and efficiency on site.
